The 7200 Series Proximity Transducer Systems provide precise gap-to-voltage measurements for both static and dynamic applications. These noncontacting sensors are ideal for monitoring shaft position and vibration in rotating or reciprocating equipment, including turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors. With a linear range of 80 mils (2 mm), they meet API 670 standards, ensuring reliable performance in critical machinery.
For enhanced durability, the 8 mm probe now features Bently Nevada’s innovative Cable LoC™ technology, reinforcing the connection between the probe and coaxial cable. This upgrade minimizes damage during installation and extends the sensor’s operational life, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
Flexible installation is possible with two new integral cable options for 8 mm probes: 5 meters and 9 meters. Since no extension cables are needed, setup is simplified, reducing potential signal interference. These ready-to-use configurations streamline integration into existing systems.
Available in nine thread variants, the 7200 Series supports both English and metric mounting requirements. The 5 mm probes use rugged fiberglass construction, while the 8 mm versions are made from chemical-resistant PPS plastic, ideal for harsh, wet, or corrosive conditions.
